Other my injury that I came in with, it couldn't have been better.

I think X-rays were unnecessary since there was no fall or blow to my knee. The problem was in an area of soft tissue and will likely need a CT or MRI to diagnose accurately. The PA's recommendation to wait 2-3 weeks to see if my knee improves and to call back if it doesn't would make sense without X-rays. My guess is that insurance companies require X-rays first.
