If you have surgery at OrthoNebraska Hospital, you will be assigned an anesthesiologist and certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA) who will be in charge of controlling your pain and consciousness. They will speak to you before the surgery to learn more about your preferences and confirm the health history that they will have reviewed to ensure the safest methods of anesthesia for you as an individual.
