I have a recently torn my left rotator cuff, will most likely need a reverse replacement very soon. (MRI results are pending.) My shoulder is painful and also has some loss of function. Dr Hutton is my surgeon, and he is booked out until May of 2025 for replacement surgeries. I was rather shocked! Its hard for me to know what to do. I've been an RN for 43 yrs and have never seen this long of a "wait time" before. I totally understand and this is not an emergency, but still, it's concerning. He is a great surgeon and in high demand, so I get it. I am scheduled to see his partner, Dr Bonness, Tuesday, Oct. 22nd. I am hoping this is the right thing to do moving forward.
