I went to Ortho for PT for 15 months after ACL surgery, and although it was a hard 15 months it was also probably some of the best 15 months of my life. I have never felt so welcomed and so heard from a facility before. I had a few set backs while doing PT and not once did I feel pressured or forced to go any further than where I was comfortable going. I was constantly asked, multiple times a sessions how I was feeling, or how I liked/disliked something. I enjoyed how most days the conversations were just exercise driven, but I was able to have personal conversations and learn deeper about who I was working with and vice versa. 15 months is a long time and I made some pretty great connections with everyone! The front desk ladies, the PTs assistants, the other patients, and even the other Physical Therapists who I didn't even see. I am forever grateful for my time at PT. Not just because I'm feeling better, but because of the relationships that were built, and how comfortable I felt there. The very last PT day was very bitter sweet. Knowing that I was done with PT was a relief, that all my hard work had paid off, but knowing that I won't get to see the Ortho staff again (knock on wood I don't get hurt again) it hurt the heart a little. My daughter still asks me if she can come to PT with me, and it hurt her little heart when I told her I was done and that we didn't need to go see our friends anymore. With that being said; Thank you! From the bottom of my heart for everything over the last 15 months. Your staff made a crappy situation into something that was enjoyable, fun, hard, and encouraging. I will forever have the Ortho family in my heart and Ortho will be the only place I will go to seek care shall there be anything in the future.
