Therapy and Rehabilitation Options

If an injury is impacting your running, count on OrthoNebraska’s Optimum Stride team to customize rehab and exercise programs based on your history, condition and goals. We ensure optimum recovery by coordinating with your healthcare team. Many of our services may be covered by your insurance.

Our Optimum Stride team utilizes a wide variety of therapies designed to treat running athletes, including:

Alter-G Treadmill- Anti-gravity training reduces impact while retaining the neuromuscular benefits of running.

Aquatic Therapy- Our indoor pool provides low impact movement practice during water therapy.

Functional Dry Needling- We treat sensitive muscular pain using filiform needles to stimulate underlying trigger points.

Graston Technique- Our specially trained therapists use patented metal instruments to improve pain management and range of motion through soft tissue mobilization.

Kinesiotaping- This specialized taping method helps support muscle function, reduce swelling, and improve joint mechanics.

Orthotics – Optimize your gait and performance with customized shoe inserts.
