OrthoNebraska to Open Aksarben Clinic, Urgent Care

We are excited to announce a new clinic location that may make accessing OrthoNebraska’s subspecialized, personalized care easier for you. This July, we’re opening a new clinic in the Aksarben area, on the second floor of the Think Whole Person Healthcare building at 72nd and Center.

“Having a location in the Aksarben and Midtown area is important to us, and Think is a great fit for our new clinic. They look to provide that same unmatched patient experience,” said OrthoNebraska CEO Levi Scheppers.

Opening in July 2020, this location will offer Orthopedic Urgent Care, giving the community a third location option for walk-in orthopedic care during the day, after hours and on weekends. X-rays are also available on-site.

Think is one of the largest independent primary care centers in the U.S. with more than 45,000 patients and an innovator that opened in 2015.

OrthoNebraska’s providers who practiced at Midtown most recently will all see patients in the new Aksarben location. Others will join them, representing each orthopedic subspecialty to cover the needs of any patient who would walk in the door.

“Think is based on a team approach to managing patients’ health,” said Think CEO James Canedy, M.D. “The care philosophies of Think and OrthoNebraska align perfectly. We both have a commitment to putting the patient first – helping them live their best lives.”
