I was a little put off by the bill I received for the brace that was prescribed by the PA. The billing department, for some reason decided not to file the claim to my insurance. The billing clerk advised that sometimes insurance doesn't pay for them. I thought that was weird since the PA advised me to take care of it because insurance usually only pays for one every five years. I checked my policy and durable medical equipment, including braces are covered, I advised the clerk to file the claim. I will assume this was just a mistake on the part of the billing clerk and not an unethical way to bill the patient full price instead of accepting the lower negotiated price paid by your contract with United Healthcare.

The facility is a little small but the therapists do a fantastic job working around everyone.
