Everything was going smoothly, until it was a "shift change". The new RN knew nothing about why I was there but told me I was discharged. It was very awkward and confusing. I should have gone to UNMC, but your ER is closer to me.

Wish I didn't spend so much time waiting in the room... I was there about 2 hours & only about 15-20 minutes was anyone doing anything with me.

My only suggestion is to give a referred patient the contact info for those spoken to at the other ER or hospital so the patient family can head off any lapse in care such as what we experienced
