I liked the doctor very much. The nurse and CNA were "okay". The CNA took my blood pressure and it was very high but she never told me and left the room. When I asked the doctor what it was, he said they didn't tell him so it must have been okay. After he left, CNA came back into the room and said she had to retake my bp as it was 183/93. When she retook it she had me just lay my arm down in my lap and it was still 175/93. I even questioned why I didn't have my arm elevated to heart level and she said it was okay on my lap. It's not really proper. Nevertheless I would have liked to have known my first bp was so high so I could have talked to the doctor about it when he was in with me. Anything over 180 is considered a blood pressure crisis, I understand. So I asked her if I was in any immediate danger and she said no. Well I worried about it all night and today until I took it at home and it was 142/91. Considerably lower. I just think I should have elevated my arm during the readings - and known it was that high so I could talk to the doctor. The nurse was okay but not particularly friendly or communicative either. The lady at check in was super nice and welcoming.
