How do you know when you’re ready?
If you’re an athlete dealing with a major injury, this is likely the top question on your mind. We can put that question to rest with our Functional Activity & Strength Test designed to assess an athlete’s readiness to advance to higher level activities during their rehabilitation such as
- Running
- Agility activities
- Jumping
- Hopping
- Cutting
Return to Sport
Our physical therapists can perform these tests in coordination with your doctor’s appointments so they can make the best decisions possible regarding advancing activities towards your eventual return to sport. No athlete’s journey is alike, so measuring your progress over time reduces your chance of re-injury and gets you back in the game safely.

FAST testing is typically ordered by an orthopedic surgeon as a part of your overall recovery and rehabilitation process. Talk to your surgeon or physical therapist if you have questions about FAST testing.
