I am a little disappointed that the cortisone injection has not done more to alleviate the pain and discomfort in my wrist. I should have asked how long it would take to take maximum effect. He did say I might need to have a second one, but didn't say how soon. Dr. LESIAK was very friendly and nice , he listened to me, agreed with my primary care provider's diagnosis and told me about possible surgery on the tendon sheath. I am wondering if he expected that I would need surgery, but had to give me injections to meet insurance conditions.
