I hate the front desk check in process that is not clear who is available for check in when it appears clerks are available and no one is working with a patient.

When I came out to set up a future appt, the folks behind the desks (each working on their computers) did not even look up for several minutes to acknowledge that there were two of us standing there. A quick look-up and "we'll be with you shortly" would have been appropriate. I was almost to the point of saying, "hello?"
