I have to wrap my head around the diagnosis. I did not feel pressured. I appreciate that.

Due to a scheduling error (most likely on my part) my provider and his nursing staff were a little taken off guard at my appointment and that is understandable. I did feel my provider was a bit gruff in his meeting with me and that did not coincided with my previous experience with him. I also did feel like his nursing staff was all business but not very much warmth. While I apologized to both for the surprise visit and addition to their schedule that day, both seemed rather stressed and/or a tad bit annoyed. I am completely understanding to something unexpected in one's day as I experience this in my job as well. I also understand the stressors of certain days, again, because of my own experiences in my job. I am hoping this was an off day and future visits will be more like my first experience with my provider and his nursing staff. His PA did come in to say hi due to having worked with me and a previous provider. His warmth and understanding, as well as taking the time to do a surprise pop in was wonderful.

Clinic was clean, staff was alert and cheerful. Everyone was working yet no one was rushed or crowded. The appointment flowed smoothly even with adding an X-ray to the appointment. I was still out on time without feeling rushed. Impressive.
