Dr. Sayfe Jassim joined OrthoNebraska in 2019 as a fellowship-trained knee and hip replacement orthopedic surgeon. He has a particular interest and expertise in anterior hip replacement, muscle-sparing knee replacement, robotic-assisted knee replacement, computer-assisted hip replacement, as well as revision hip and knee surgery for highly complex cases.
Dr. Jassim prioritizes continued advancements in surgical technique with alternative knee alignment in total knee replacement, kinematic alignment. With kinematic alignment, the goal is to restore or resurface the knee joint to its pre-arthritic state thereby making the knee replacement feel more natural. He focuses on data collection and research to collaborate and create effective surgical pathways.
He also has a particular interest in education and teaches surgeons throughout the country on advanced techniques in hip and knee replacement.
